5 Things We Can Expect from Google in 2021

Google launched a variety of stuff in 2020, including Google Pixel 4a and Pixel 4a 5G, Chromecast 4 with Google TV, Google Pixel 5, Google Home Speaker, and many more. But it will be interesting to see what the company has decided to launch in 2021. Here are the five things that we can expect from Google this year.

Launch of Next Pixel

Well, it has not been so long since Google Pixel 5 arrived in the market, but still, people are very enthusiastic to see Pixel 6. Pixel 5 is undoubtedly a great device, and it justifies its price, and there is no doubt that Pixel 6 is going to blow our minds as well with its specs and features. Let’s see when Google reveals the launch date of Pixel 6.

A New Chromebook

It has already been a year since Google launched its last Pixelbook, and it will not be wrong if we expect a new Chromebook launch from Google this year. Chromebooks always come with premium price tags, but they offer high-end specs and features that justify their prices. So if Google launches a new Chromebook this year, it will be better if the company adds some advanced features to it, such as support for Android applications without the need for an emulator, adequate software support, a powerful chipset, and more.

Wear OS

If you look at the performance of Wear OS in the year 2020, you will get to know that it was not good. Honestly, Google needs to work a lot on Wear OS as it neither offers premium features nor tracks fitness appropriately. Google needs to provide its partners with the resources or tools they require in order to make and improve great smartwatches. Well, Google might have already thought about this, let’s see whether we get any improvements on Wear OS this year or not.

Proper Media Game Plans

You can see that Google launched plenty of stuff in the year 2020, including Chromecast 4 with Google TV, Google Home Speaker, etc. Despite these, Google has to manage YouTube Premium, Google TV, and many other platforms. Well, it’s nothing wrong to work on multiple stuff, but it’s quite frustrating when you don’t get a completely developed product.

Well, it’s hard to say why Google does these things, but we can hope that this year Google won’t repeat the same things.

Privacy

Google already offers us great data security, including Assistant privacy settings, Android app permission toggles, and several data policies. However, you can’t deny the fact that Google sees your emails, tracks user location, and saves voice searches so that it can sell more and more ads. Well, it’s really a severe concern. Google tracks all this stuff without our permission. Google tracks our searches even in incognito mode. I really want Google to take privacy seriously and stop doing these things. Let’s see whether Google works on it or not.
